ID: 1568
Date Submitted: 12/14/2006
Breed: Labrador Retriever
Date Purchased: 12/13/2006
Broker:  Unknown
Petshop:  Fin Fur And Feather
Details: Lethargic, spot on him that looks like it may have been ringworm, they told me it wasn't and that it was just a bite wound from the puppie's mother. Lighter color fur on him that makes me think he is not a purebred chocolate lab.

Miscellaneous:
This breeder is unlicensed by the USDA.  The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) requires that all
breeders with more than 3 female dogs, who are selling puppies through
wholesale channels (such at pet stores), must be licensed and inspected by
the USDA.

Normally, I recommend waiting to file a complaint with USDA against an
unlicensed breeder until it becomes evident that they are operating in
violation of the law.  I will continue to monitor this breeder for further
activity, and file a complaint, should I feel there is evidence of illegal
activity.  If you would like to file a complaint now, to have this matter
investigated by USDA, you can do so by following the instructions on this
page:  http://www.petshoppuppies.com/fac.htm
