 JUN-15-2004-
There are 3 cattle dogs that are tethered these dogs need to be put in a pen that will hold them without tethering and these dogs need to be part of the kennel if they are going to be maintained with the kennel dogs this affects 3 dogs and needs to be corrected by July 16 2004
There are 3 dogs 2 boxers and 1 malamute that do not have room to stand up in their houses this needs to be corrected to allow the dogs the required room to sit stand and lie in normal manner to be corrected by July 16 2004
There are several new wooden dog houses that need to be made impervious to moisture to facilitate cleaning and disinfecting approx 15 houses affects approx 30 dogs. This needs to be corrected to allow daily cleaning to be corrected by July 16 2004
There are 3 young dogs in a cage that have pulled an extension cord that is plugged in into their cage this could harm the pups who are chewing on the cord. This needs to be corrected to protect the dogs from electrical shock and all other cords need to be checked for access to the dogs to be corrected immediately and all cords need to be kept out of reach of the dogs 
There are 5 Shiba Inu dogs in a cage that do not have the required 6 inch head space. This needs to be corrected to give the dogs the required space this needs to be corrected by July 16 2004
There are approx 5 waterers that have a green color in the waterers this needs to be corrected to allow cleaning and sanitizing of the waterers this affects approx 10 dogs to be corrected by June 20 2004
There are 9 pens back of the building by the open barn housing 22 dog that have an accumulation of weeds and grass grown up around them that needs to be cut down to protect the dogs from vermin and eliminate living and breeding areas for vermin

The cats need to have a designated pen that will house them and allow them to be in an area that can be cleaned and disinfected. To be corrected by 10-1-2003
These Areas are designated dog areas and need to be kept and maintained for the purpose of the dogs and not for storage of tools etc. The area where the feed is being stored in the bags. Is also being used as a storage, Work area, and is a traffic area to get tools etc in and out of the Barn area.  The area that is being used as Large dog whelping area also has a lot of tools and supplies that could be a hazard to the dogs. The room in the house being used as a whelping area also has an accumulation of tools etc this room also has pet cockatiels the different species should be kept in different areas where bird dust etc would not affect the newborn pups All of these areas need to be cleaned and maintained as dog rooms / areas by removing anything that is not directly necessary for the dogs. All cleaning supplies need to be kept in a closed cabinet. To be corrected by November 1-2003.
The pens in the large dog whelping area inside the building have an accumulation of feces and gravel that is excessive in the housing area, also in the outside runs in this same area have an accumulation of mud and feces and and several holes that the dogs have dug where water can accumulate this area also has an accumulation of cobwebs that also need to be kept under control.  There is a cage of 3 cavaliers that has a piece of carpet in the cage that is soiled with feces.  There are several pens in the barn area that have an accumulation of feces bedding etc that is excessive for being cleaned  daily All the pens need to be cleaned daily to allow the dogs the freedom from being in their own excreta and to keep down Bacteria that cause disease. This affects approx 30 dogs to be corrected by October 20 - 2003
There is one cow dog housed in the enclosure near the large dog whelping area outside that does not have a house to get into to get out of the elements this dog needs a house with a wind and rain break that allows it to get out of the elements to be corrected by 10-20-2003.
If this dog is to be maintained as a pet it needs to be removed from the kennel area or will be considered a kennel dog.  There are 4 Papilon dogs housed in a cage in the barn area that has cage dividers partially down in the cage that they are  jumping over these panels have some sharp edges protruding that could injure the dogs. this needs to be corrected by 10-20- 2003.
There is 2 bloodhounds in the back kennel area that need a larger dog house that allows each dog to sit stand and lie in a normal manner, There is also another bloodhound near the large dog whelping area that also needs a larger house. That allows this dog to sit stand and lie in a normal manner. There is also 2 lab dogs in the back kennel area that need larger housing. These houses do not allow the dogs to stand in a normal manner. This needs to be corrected by November 1-2003,
There is 2 dogs in the whelping area in the house that do not have the required amount of 6 inches head space in the whelping cages. this needs to be corrected by 10-20-2003
There are numerous waterers that have water that is a greenish color, or dirty brown colored water in the waterers. These waterers need to be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis to keep the water clean and available for the dogs. Affects approx. 30 dogs. To be corrected by November 1-2003.
There is several waterers that do not have water in them at the time the inspection was done the dogs need to be checked more often to see that water is available. This affects approx 20 dogs. To be corrected by October 15-2003.
The basement area that is being used to house the cats has an accumulation of feces that has not been cleaned for awhile there is also 1 shiba puppy running here this whole area needs to be cleaned and the unnecessary accumulation of articles removed This area also has a strong odor of feces that needs to be controlled the litter box is full and needs to be maintained better. To be corrected by 10-20-2003

There were no feed containers present or observed three sacks of feed were observed open, the feed needs to be in covered containers to keep it free of vermin and palatable to the animals. To be corrected by August 1 2003
There is 1 pen of mastiffs behind the whelping building that is not being cleaned daily. This pen needs to be cleaned better and more often. to be corrected by August 1 2003.
The entire kennel needs a general cleaning to establish an effective rodent vermin control program, Mouse droppings were observed in the barn area and in the whelping area both in the sheltered area and in the indoor area, To be corrected by August 1 2003
The new wood surfaces in the barn area do not appear to be impervious to moisture. There is approximately 4 pens in the barn area that have plywood walls the plywood needs to be made impervious moisture To be corrected by August 1 2003
There are 4 pens that do not have housing that is adequate for the dogs and 1 pen that does not have enough shade available for the dogs. this affects approximately 10 dogs, This needs to be corrected by August 1 2003
There are 4 adult cats housed in wire transport cage that is approximately 2 ft by 3 ft this doesnt appear to meet the required space. to be corrected by August 1 2003.
There are two cat cages that do not have any resting surfaces present. to be corrected by August 1 2003
