Details: it is my understanding that this puppy had respiratory infection while he was at pet store waiting for a buyer. He was hospitalized and given treatment at the vet where I continue to take him.

Dog very, very smart. Excellent temperament. Difficulty playing with toys, does not like to cuddle. Still working on perfecting house breaking after 5 months with us.

Details: The puppy started coughing the day after we bought her, which was her first visit to the vet.  The vet diagnosed kennel cough and put her on Clavmox drops and Doxycycline.  I took her back to the vet a week later, because she was really not any better. The vet gave me a second round of the same drugs as above.  I had her back to the vet today, because the puppy is getting worse (coughing more).  The vet gave her an antibiotic injection.  The puppy will have two more injections tomorrow, and two more the following day.

Note: Some states have "puppy lemon laws" which give remedies to the customer if they were lied to about registration papers.  Ohio has no lemon laws that I am aware of.

Details: came home from the pet store with kennel cough.  We discovered in late August 2005 that she was favouring her left hind leg on occasion.  We took her to see an orthopedic specialist who said that she had luxating patella in both hind legs.  Consequently, she had costly surgery in November 2005 and has completely recupperated.  Fortunately for us, she has a sweet and loving disposition.

Our D.V.M. has diagnosed the following inheritable disorders in Hamlet: Demodex Mange, generalized, Stenotic Nares, serere, Elongated soft palate, servere, Eversion of ventricular saccules, bilateral, Entropion, bilateral, inferior, Pyloric, inaddition and as a result of one or more of these conditions Hamlet has been treated for: O.U. corneal ulcers, Lympho-pasmocytic gastritis and Demodectic mange. In addition and as a result of one or more of these conditions, Hamlet has had the following surgeries: Third eyelid flap and Tarasorrhaphy, O.D.,
Stenotic nares surgery, Uvelectomy, Tonsillestomy, Bilateral laryngeal sacculectomy and Pyloromyotomy and gastric biopsy.  I was advised not to breed Hamlet for the purposes due to the generalized demodex mange itself and certainly should not be used for breeding as a result of the severity of the bachycephalic upper airway disorders.
